TANIZAWA, Peach's "Sleeping Cat"
Upon researching, it seems the origin of the "Sleeping Cat" is a cat sculpture at Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Behind it is a sparrow sculpture, and it seems to symbolize something like, "The cat is sleeping, so the sparrows are at peace." It's said to represent "the end of the survival of the fittest Sengoku period under Tokugawa Ieyasu, and the arrival of a peaceful world," but simply put, it's a "symbol of peace."
In these uncertain times, this interpretation seems particularly relevant.
I want to find peace of mind with Tanizawa's "Cute Sleeping Cat"!
